I’m a Gen Xer and I have never watch any of the Stars Wars movies. My contemporaries find that a big crime. I did see jaws a few times though. Great flick and more my speed. Refuse to see the Decraprio Titanic too.

The original Star Wars, and The Empire Strikes Back, are worth seeing. Star Wars should be seen in the original, rather than the Special Edition, and is a groundbreaking movie. For the full effect, watch “Logan’s Run” right before, and then as you watch Star Wars, keep in mind that it came out less than a year after Logan’s Run. Empire was just a good movie, well directed, and probably the best of the six (in some cases, by a long way); that it happens to have been part of a (mostly) well-conceived science fiction universe makes it even better.

I've never seen E.T. I was 13 when it came out and everybody said, "You have to go see it!"

I showed them ;-)
