New York's 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a decision of a lower court by claiming Congress can withhold funding to Acorn (The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). ACORN may consider a second appeal. "We cannot let Congress be pushed around by the right-wing media machine into becoming prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner of politically unpopular people or organizations," said Bill Quigley, legal director for The Center for Constitutional Rights arguing for ACORN.
No Bill, the Federal Government should not fund a criminal organization, not a left one or a right one.
I am really leaning towards getting one.

Jem! Not even the laundry soap! LOL.
If you can think of the man’s name that we both know, please send it to me in FR mail.
He’s from Hattiesburg and he teaches law enforcement/criminal investigation course at Southern Miss and you know him from way back when you both worked in Law Enforcement. Recall that I made his acquaintance at the Antique Auctions and he talked highly of you? He likes antiques and owned a jewelry store in Pass Christian that got wiped-out by Katrina. I’ve been trying to recall his name for months.
I know. I’m bad.
Tyler Fletcher. I employed a lot of his graduates and even lectured in his classes lots of time. I did hire a Ole Miss garduate but he was dumb as a sack of nails...

Sorry bout that. Tyler Fletcher. Nice fellow....
Yes, thank you! I want to get in touch with him. Thank you!!! I’ll make a note of it now.
LOL. Yep, you bad, Jem
DrO just told me the Marxist is about to speak live .... sounds like the perfect time for me to fix some lunch, far away from the TV.
I tend to agree with you, however, I hope the race card doesn’t trump the 9/11 tragedy. The way the msm reports we never know.
Yes, the house is cleaned out. In fact, it is neater than our own. ;-)
It was recommended that we list it without an agent for a few weeks. We have four interested callers.
No doubt about it, the house needs new windows. I'm going to ask a window company for a free estimate.
If nothing happens in two weeks we will list with an agent.
Ahhh. Well, scratch him off your good list and onto your think-bad-things-about list. LOL!
Let me tell you. It's so messy he pressure washed his jeans before I can wash them.
ROFL!
HAPPY,HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!
LOL.
I just spotted that thread, dear lysie. There’s no way, I’m going to admit to some of the stupid and dangerous stuff I did as a tom-boy, but I’m sure going to read about what y’all and other FRiends did! LOL.
Oh, I am enjoying that thread. Thanks for posting it. I can’t recall doing anything remotely daring, but I can recall doing things that were extremely stupid.
Come to think of it, I haven’t changed much. Hold ma’ beer!
Hi, FRiend!
