(Metaphorically speaking, of course;)

Target gets no sympathy or business from me. Its founders heirs are limo libs who support demwits and their left-leaning causes...which makes this slap-fight pretty funny.

Interestingly, Emmer's opponent is girly man Mark Dayton, great grandson of the guy who cofounded the Dayton-Hudson Corporation which also owns Target.

Maybe they are simply trying to balance the harm they did to Minnesota and the nation by producing another trust fund brat who is a beneficiary of the system he and the far left of his party are trying to destroy.

This story changed my interest in purchasing a refrigerator today. I bought at Target instead of Walmart.

It amazes me, 50 lone protesters make Headline News, but never nothing about the Thousands at the Tea Partys. They can make Target draw back, but 7 Million voters in California means nothing. (walking away shaking my head) God Have Mercy on America.

“This is a tactic that is trying to force corporations not to give to any conservative group all of which are anti the gay agenda. I don’t understand the fear that so many conservatives have in standing up to these leftist activists.”

... It’s intimidation politics pure and simple.
Practiced by Jesse the shakedown artist for years.
Corporations dont want to make waves.

Be very afraid if this is successful, fight back against intimidation politics. The anti prop-8 people were very vicious after that election in targetting people personally and even going to where people lived.

For a group that demands the right to engage in their own personal lifestyle and beliefs (which they are entitled to), they are mighty intolerant of those of a different view.

We cannot have tolerance without tolerance of different points of view, and we cannot have diversity without diversity of opinion. This boycott is intolerant intimidation.

“Interestingly, Emmer’s opponent is girly man Mark Dayton, great grandson of the guy who cofounded the Dayton-Hudson Corporation which also owns Target.”

... and a mentally unstable alcoholic, who only gets re-elected because he can spend millions to cover his tracks to make up for what a poor public servant he is.

“Maybe they are simply trying to balance the harm they did to Minnesota and the nation by producing another trust fund brat who is a beneficiary of the system he and the far left of his party are trying to destroy.”
... could be.

“the fear that so many conservatives have in standing up to these leftist activists”

that’s way too abstract to be helpful. What exactly do you mean by that? Who’s not doing what?"

I think it's because the CEO apologized because Target contributed to a conservative groupm, and not to the bullies. By apologizing, they're giving in and not standing up to the bullies:

"While Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel has apologized to employees for the contribution,..."

Attention Target: Don’t give in; I was at one of your stores today; I like shopping with you; but if you give in to this small minority, I’ll lose respect for you.
