CAMP LEATHERNECK, Afghanistan - An Afghan gentleman begged a squad of Marines, out for a routine visit to a village in southern Afghanistan, to come to his nephew's rescue. “It was a win for a lot of people - everyone but the Taliban.”
Thank you for posting. Good story! Also prayers for 1LT Jarolimek...the article says he was later WIA and continued prayers for the boy’s recovery!!
Yeah that quote stood out to me too...good one!
We are always proud of the conduct of our military but we often forget that they are a reflection of the values of this country. This is a great country populated by good people and based on high moral values. Unfortunately, there is an evil ideology, Marxism, intent on destroying that history and replace it with a system that has never built a successful society. Instead it has a history of mass murder and destruction.
They have partnered with an equally evil religion, fanatical Islam/Wahabbism. Each is intent on destroying the heroic goodness illustrated by this story.
Don’t be suckered by more of their lies. Vote the Democrats out of office. Don’t lose your steam.
And the village elders would think nothing of putting a hit out on the humanitarian Marines if they could get away with it ... just like they did to the humanitarian team of doctors.
Hell hole.
