Recently met a prospective client at his citrus ranch near Zolfo Springs (west of Sebring). He told me they shoot as many as 20 a week sometimes. I guess the pigs wreak havoc on the low hanging grapefruit and oranges.
Not really,
What the pigs do is root around in the dirt looking for grubs. Little fat white worms.
A large 400 pounder will tear up 2 acres in a night. a passel of little ones the same.
Also we take hard feed corn, soak it in water for three days then bait traps for the beasts.
BUT it is sure fun running through the wetlands chasing them and shooting them.
Once in a while they’ll hunt you.
