Obama’s pro-Muslim words
By Grant Swank
http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/swank/091122

Let Barack Hussein Obama speak for himself:

“The person who made me proudest of all though was my (half-brother), Roy. He was converted to Islam.” (DREAMS OF MY FATHER)

“In Indonesia, I spent two years at a Muslim school. . .I studied the Koran.” (DREAMS OF MY FATHER)

“Lolo (Obama’s stepfather) followed Islam. . .I looked to Lolo for guidance.” (AUDACITY OF HOPE)

” I will stand with them (Muslims) should the political winds of war shift in any ugly direction. . .” (AUDACITY OF HOPE)

“We are no longer just a Christian nation. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.” (INAUGURAL SPEECH)

In our system a person is required to be a natural born citizen in order to hold the office of president, and I think such should be ensured. However, just as the police officer generally has to accept the license as proof that the birth certificate was already seen and accepted, the electorate has to accept that, once sworn in, the relevant bona fides were seen and accepted by whatever authority is responsible.

Ultimately, the responsibility falls upon the electors to verify that they are voting for an eligible candidate, and upon the members of Congress to verify that the counted votes are cast for eligible candidates. Both the Electoral College and the Congress were apparently satisfied that there was no problem in this case.

It invalidated the election, so Biden does not become President.

Nope. The election of the Vice President is separate from the election of the President.

IF Obama and the left want to shut up the birther movement completely

Shut them up? Obama want the Birthers to shout from the rooftops, the better to tar all conservatives and Republicans with the broad brush of crackpottery.

LOL. The idiot who wrote this article really is naive. To anyone who thinks releasing any document at all will shut the birthers up, I can get them a really nice deal on a bridge in New York city.

LOL indeed. God the Father could descend from Heaven in full view of the entire nation and proclaim that the Birthers are wrong, and their response would be "Everybody knows that the Devil can throw his voice."

If he was going to spring a trap on the birthers, he would have done so by now.

He doesn't need to spring a trap -- just sit back and let the circus go on, basking in the knowledge that it makes all of his opponents look a bit clownish.

Oh, by all means. Be it far from us to ever question The One. Why, that would just be racist!

Just who are you afraid of being thought badly of? Liberals? Progressives? Democrats? The MSM? You think they'll think better of us, if we go into agreement with their unsupported arguments that Obama is a legal president - when the overwhelming evidence suggests that he is not?

Do you believe that it's more honorable to ignore all of the evidence, and compromise with what you clearly see before your very own eyes?

Do you believe that any US president would allow such a boiling controversy to continue over his root bona fides if he had the power to stop it by simply releasing the most basic of documents?

To ignore such logic is the real crackpottery, my friend.

You're ignoring the basic foundation of this controversy. It's reasonable, and totally within the people's rights to ask their president to show them his legal bona fides to hold office, when such a huge cloud of doubt resides around him.

The people aren't responsible for this controversy. Obama is. He could have nipped this entire thing in the bud when it first surfaced, if he'd simply shown the nation his original long-form birth certificate. He didn't, and he continues to refuse to do so, which puts the onus for all of this on him.

Anyone who accepts his argument that he's a legal president, while he simultaneously refuses to show this simple document, is succumbing to the perpetration of a fraud against them, and is a first-class fool.

"Just who are you afraid of being thought badly of?"

Voters.

Voters who are so weak minded that they'll jump ship from an entire political movement because some are asking this most basic question, are probably not going to vote GOP anyway.

If you've seen the most recent polling on what Americans think of Obama, it's pretty clear that a great deal of suspicion about his origins and qualifications for office exist in the minds of average Americans.

The bc controversy has been raging since before Obama won the election, and despite what danger you imagine it represents to the conservative patriot cause, the numbers are steadily increasing for our side - not decreasing. Obviously, the outspokenness of the "birthers" has had NO effect on our forward progress.

Obama and the Democrats have lost support across every demographic in the nation, while the birth certificate controversy has grown. And this has occurred, even with the MSM blowing the "crackpot conspiracy" horn, day and night.
