I live in the Boston area and Boston is considered one of the places with the "worst" drivers. Well I have surprising news for you all, Boston actually has some of the best drivers in the world. By and large, we are extremely courteous, we stay within speed limits and we obey all the rules of the road. I cannot say enough good things about the drivers in the Boston area - they are by and large a fantastic group of motorists and I am very happy to be among them.

Really? Maybe Bostonians are fine, but the worst drivers I see on my local commute (a major route to the two casinos here in CT) have a MA plate. I just shrug and hope they don’t kill someone.
Friday afternoons are the scariest. I’m in the right lane going ~70 in a 65 and people are passing me like I am standing still, tailgating each other at 85-90, weaving in and out of traffic trying to get to the front of the pack, etc. Most weekday mornings *I* am the one passing people, still going at the same speed.
On those days if I come up another pokey local, I generally stay over in the right lane (it is a 2 laner) until I see no one in my rear view mirror.
Maybe it is just the casino patrons.
