Used to play a vocab game every Friday in English class who also taught Latin class. Teacher would hand out list on Monday. On Friday we’d turn in assignment. Prize went to the person who could use the most words from the list in a paragraph. Double point were given to the Latin students if they could use a latin based word and give its source in the English paragraph.....Always had fun, laughs and did our homework! What we’d do for an M&M!

Obnubilate.....hmmmmmmmm This seems to have two meanings, sort of a double nintendo as the saying goes.
Could be that Ebonyonics that the guys speak at the pool hall over on t’uther side of the rail yard, “Oby, You be late!”, but since this is a more tea and cookies post than a grits and gravy post maybe we'll try to cyfer it out.
O.K., Jimmy Jakes said his new 15 yr. old wife was very nubile. (Jimmy uses foreign words a lot). Jimmy was a’feared that when she got painted up she might also be mobile so he told her to not look so nubile meaning to “Obnubilate” a little bit.
Course Jimmy didn't know this cow girl was really 19 and had been to more than one rodeo in her short life.
Least that's what I heard.
