I took 55 pictures with my wife's Blackberry thinking I could d/l onto my laptop, but cant see how. Any help?
You should have a USB cable that came with it, when you plug it in, it may take a few minutes to detect but then under My Computer, you can browse to the Mobile Device or Removable Drive listing that pops-up. You then can browse to the image folders within the phone and copy the photos over like you would from one folder on your computer to another.
Do you have Blackberry RIM installed? Does your PC recognize your Blackberry when attached by USB?
On my Pearl, when I attach it by USB my PC recognizes it (Windows XP). The Blackberry itself asks if I want to let it be recognized for file transfer. I always respond [OK].
Once recognized for file transfer, you should be able to go into Windows Explorer and see it as a separate drive. Also, your expansion card should be seen as well. This should allow you to transfer the photos to your hard drive.
Install the Blackberry Desktop Manager - should have come with your phone, or it’s downloadable... then your phone will be seen by your computer like a hard drive and you can copy/move pics from the phone.
I guess I could have tried that...duh...but reading her owners manuel doesnt mention any capability besides emailing from the phone.

If the photos are stored on an expansion card (a small SD card), there’s another way provided you have the hardware.
The small SD cards come with a larger card into which they can be inserted. That’s so the larger card can be inserted into an SD slot attached to a USB port.
If you have an external SD reader for a USB connection, you can simply take the small card out of the phone, insert it into the larger card, then into the SD reader attached to a USB port. Again, this will act as an external drive recognized by Windows.
Either way will get your photos from the phone onto your PC, but this second way only works if the photos are on the external card. And the first way is certainly easier...
If you don’t have Blackberry Desktop Manager (RIM) on a CD, you should download it from Blackberry’s site. Be sure to get the version that is for your particular phone/model. Install that once downloaded, reboot, and then attach your phone.
You can then explore them to find your pictures and move/copy/delete them as needeed.
A quirk with my curve is that running the desktop mamager isn’t enough. You actually have to start the media utility. You don’t have to use the utility, but as soon as you start it, the blackberry magically becomes visible in windows exporer as a detachable drive. Then you can explore, drag, drop.
Are you sure curves do that? Seems like a handy thing, but I've never seen it.

Save to memory SD card and move over, or send them each to a different email account if you have one that you can access from your compter. Go to Media, Pictures, All pictures, and on each picture tap the Blackberry button, select share, emial send.
Sounds an ID Ten T problem with an obvious solution.
