Does anyone have a 7.92mm X 24mm handgun? I am interested in buying one and wanted to know if anyone had any feedback.
Which make and model?
The VRB-B
I think it’s a retrofit to some existing 9mm and 45ACP handguns. Haven’t heard much about it and I don’t think it’s an “active” cartridge for many manufacturers.
Maybe the Glock guys would know?
I think Glock makes the only one on the market. It’s a pretty new round. Expect bullets to be pretty pricey.
Looks like a nice cartridge but if you can’t find ammo for it, it might not be worth the price, unless you load at home.
I really like that three projectile round.
The metric conversion to inches matches to a 32 ACP. It is rather obscure now - Colt was the most famous maker of a semi-auto in that caliber. I’m sure ammo is still available but probably hard to find. Make sure you have the gun checked out by a gunsmith before firing.

If you don’t already own a .357 Sig that might be worth a look before going that exotic. The Sig has some nice capability... :-)
I even see the ammo at Wal-mart, so that makes it mainstream.
7.65 x 17 = .32 acp. ...so he is asking about another more obscure Euro cartridge.
.32 acps are still being produced and the ammo is everywhere.

The VBR-B 7.92 PDW/CQBW as answer to the future?
The VBR-7.92 PDW/CQBW is developed as result of a Mirror Image Training during a counter terrorism research session. In the past CRISAT and a lot of other types of body armor are based o high performance fibers like Kevlar. Supper-strong body armor is already in sight and a lot of Armor Piercing bullet will fail on the carbon nanotubes fibers. With the same bullet technology, the PDW calibers 4.6x30 and 5.7x28 dispose about an energy level around the 450 Joules which will be on the low side to penetrate this future type of carbon based body armor. The energy level of the VBR-B 7.92 caliber goes to around the 630 Joule. This means that the 7.92 x 24 mm caliber is in a better position to penetrate the future types of carbon based body armor. The VBR 7.92 PDW/CQBW provides more options for the future.

Is that thing all steel construction?
Xrail from Roth concept innovations makes my benelli M1 spew 23 rounds of #4 an slugs.....you try one yet ?
Slimmer an better than CAWS .....
Have you seen the AP ammo at Wal-mart?
“Have you seen the AP ammo at Wal-mart?”
LOL...no. Of course, all AP handgun ammo is illegal in the US, eh?
For AP capability I’d suggest a M4 type platform using readily available FMJ ammo. Rounds loaded with Barne’s “banded solid” type bullets are even better. 30 round capacity is just a bonus. ;-)
I meant ammunition manufacturers who are are currently producing the cartridge.
Love that Tokarev.
It’s got some punch and I love the bottleneck.
I was an early adopter (1993) of the 357SIG, but it never reloaded as well as the 7.92x25mm.
