Time to start processing pork products...you won’t have to fire them, they’ll leave and won’t be back.

Good one, John.

Pork processing will really get the muzzies worked up.

Long term "democrats" won't be coming off the porch to work there also.

That would just anger them more. The reason they were fired is that Swift would not give them a prayer break. Processing pork would just add to their list of grievances.

Don’t worry. It was 80 Somalis in the original complaint but 79 of them went to fight with the jihadists in Somalia so it is only one schmuck left to keep the lawsuit alive.

Unless you work for Minnesota-based Gold'n Plump Inc. [last paragraph]

On Wednesday, Minnesota-based Gold'n Plump Inc., a poultry processing firm, agreed to allow Muslim workers short prayer breaks and the right to refuse handling of pork.

The Star-Tribune in Minneapolis reported that the federally mediated agreement -- a year in the making in response to a class-action lawsuit brought by nine Somali workers -- is among the first in the nation that requires employers to accommodate the Islamic prayer schedule. It also accommodates the belief held by many Muslims that the Qur'an prohibits the touching and eating of pork products.
