Reference : HR1, specifically Electronic Health Records, The FTC’s so called Red Flag Rules as applicable to healthcare and the new healthcare law.
I have just had my first brush with the new “healthcare” system. I have never felt so violated in my life. It was an electronic RAPE!! You voted for this garbage and exempted yourself from it. You demanded that the Doctor with whom I, not you, have a relationship carry your spear and make us adversaries.
You have determined that I will comply by blackmailing my Doctor with a threat of a loss of funds because he chooses to treat the poorest and the elderly, ie, he takes Medicare and Medicaid. I am not on either of those systems and I do not want to be but he demands personal information from me because you voted for it. He has to create this emr because you voted for it. He demands my compliance because YOU voted for it. Yet I am the one paying for his services.
I am outraged and I tell you I will NOT comply.
I will NOT have my driver’s license made part of a medical record. You have the opportunity to exempt healthcare providers from the Red Flag rules under S3415. I strongly urge you to vote for that bill. I will NOT provide you, via any government agency, with personal information simply because you say it yours to have. It is NOT yours to have. It is MINE. And it will remain MINE. My healthcare is a matter between my Doctor, my insurance carrier and myself. NOT YOU and NOT DHHS. I do not CARE that they want ethnic information, social history and, worse, specifics about my current condition. Nor am I interested in Katheline Sebelious’s statement that a bmi WILL be included in every American’s emr. Absolutely NOT and how dare she make such a demand! They are not going to get any information from me. This is not about providing care: its about providing the government with a huge data base using healthcare as a ruse.
So here is what I am demanding since we are all demanding stuff.
I DEMAND that these laws be repealed. I DEMAND that the patient, not the government decide whether or not to participate and I demand that it be done IMMEDIATELY!
You have my name; you have my address. And you have my statement: I will not be a party to this travesty and rape of my personal information for you or for anyone else.
Thanks for voting for this surrender of individual sovereignty and rights so some poor woman in Goldsboro might maybe have some measure of heathcare because she lost her job, sniffsniffwhine.

As one who is being assaulted by it, I am telling you its one of the greatest wrongs ever perpetrated on people by any government.

Did you hear what Sebelious TOLD the insurance companies about costs and the fact that they have to raise their rates (HER ORDERS)?
That bitch told them that if they publicize that the rate increases have come from her office, or the government that they will be in HUGE TROUBLE. I forget the exact threat. I learned this while listening to Mark Levin's radio show on Thursday and was so INCENSED I almost had to pull my car off the road. Not kidding.
Mark believes our cowardly congress folk should demand Sebelious appear before them and GRILL HER OVER THE COALS for threatening the insurance industry with this demand that they HIDE the FACTS of the costs? We should all call our congressmen and DEMAND that this happen ASAP!
If she is so proud of killing the best health care system in the world, why is she ashamed of the fact that it is going to cost ALL of us a HUGE BUNDLE and actually give us INFERIOR CARE?
WHY HIDE THE TRUTH FROM AMERICA? HOW IS THAT AMERICAN?
