Irishtenor, I had a chance to play a vintage 6072, and it took a bit to adjust to it. I wear a 35" sleeve, and had about a 45 degree up angle. About that last sentence though...
I saw the Gore Gore Girls a while back, and she WAS able to move around on it OK with the neck tipped up.
