These idiots would have gone bonkers over my old high school chemistry lab!!
Why we even had concentrated Nitric and Sulpheric Acids as well as metallic Soduim and Lithium. Come th think of it, we even had Glycerine!
Oh...Forgot to mention that we had a rifle range in the basement as well!
“These idiots would have gone bonkers over my old high school chemistry lab!!”
Ah the old science labs were rife with dangerous stuff, weren’t they? I remember in elementary school, our teacher taught us how to distill alcohol, and me and a friend promptly went home, set up the old home chemistry set, and tried to distill some brandy to make it stronger. Needless to say, heating brandy in a test tube over the stovetop did not result in the effect we hoped for :)
“Sulpheric” = Sulfuric
In my high school chem lab we assembled a five foot long rocket, and filled it with powdered zinc and powdered sulfur, tamping it down with a metal rod. Then we took it down to the athletic field and launched it a mile into the air. All under the supervision of the chemistry teacher.
