Very sorry to hear that. My best wishes to your full recovery.
Obviously imprisoning girls like this for testing positive for coke probably would have prevented that, right?
I think you are missing the larger issue here. If the drunk driver that broke your legs had been in jail instead of on the road when he hurt you, then certainly yes, that would have prevented your injury. Do you disagree?
If that drunk driver would have been caught for driving drunk twice, maybe been in prison as a result, maybe forced into real rehab with non-compliance penalities as a result, maybe your legs wouldn't have been broken by the drunk driver.
Maybe you are making it all up, I don't know for a fact, but find it difficult to believe that someone who suffered a sever injury as the result of an impaired driver would be so willy-nilly supportive of a drunk or drugged out idiot that was caught (multiple times) driving drunk.
A reasonable person would think that someone who had both their legs broke, not just one, but both, would find some intelligent aspect to punishing people who drive under the influence of mind altering substances regardless of their personal position on the private use of mind altering substances.
Then again, you might just be stoned, or a liar, or stupid. Personally - I am not sure which right about now but am considering choice "D" all of the above...
