Mrs. Obama Gives Leaders Pickled Okra

In an effort to transcend cultural barriers, the White House presented visiting dignitaries with a gift in honor of the 65th annivesary of the United Nations General Assembly.

First Lady Michelle Obama offered an assortment of gifts from the White House Kitchen Garden. In other words, our international guests are being sent home with vegetables.

Among the tasty treats in Mrs. Obama’s basket are sun gold tomatoes, chocolate bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, fresh herbs and pickled okra.

Pickled okra.

The White House goodie basket also includes an assortment of chamomile seeds, a clay tean canister, and a soy candle — with three wicks.

The basket is hand woven, made from Maplewood harvested by The Longaberger Company.

Each basket is affixed with a nickel tag engraved with the words, “Made Exclusively for Michelle Obama.”

The Obama’s have absolutely no clue. You can take the fool out of the ghetto, but you can’t get the ghetto out of the fool. Becomes apparent after all the stupid things done by this ghetto first family. I remember Michelle getting off Air Force 1 (?) in cutoffs as one of the best examples.

Will be glad when dignity regains a foothold in the White House.
