I have a new respect for destroyer sailors.Tin can sailors deserve respect. I was on a carrier in the Pacific in the seventies. We went through a typhoon with our escorts. We were walking on the bulkheads. I can only imagine what the small boys went through from watching them. They should have gotten sub pay.
Don't tell them I said so. If they get swelled heads, they will never fit aboard their ships.
