November is Coming!
No doubt we'll have some wavering polls, some naysayer commentators. The MSM will play their usual role trying to pit one group of conservatives against another, promoting controversy, while ignoring the cracks in the Left's facade.
But with essentially one month left, a few hard campaigning weeks and weekends, we'll stay firmly focused on November 2 and stopping a horrendous assault on our Constitution and our Liberties.
November IS coming!
Thanks for getting us started.
We went to a picnic this afternoon...a little cool, but oh well, we huddled in the enclosed porch, except for the kids who played outside on the edge of the ravine at the edge of the property.
Please post your comments, news and opinions. Enjoy the discussion!
Re: Secretariat. I saw a commercial for it today. I really want to see that movie. Horses and dogs are so good for people.
PLUS a PG rating....nice.
Right place at the right time. Just luck.
Have you seen the trailer for the new movie: Secretariat??
No, but I'll look for it. I'd be interested in going to a theater to watch it.
What is your laptop doing/not doing? I hope your nephew will be able to stop by to look at it.
It is not booting. He got it going last week but warned that the problem wasn’t fully addressed.
‘Evening everybody. Thanks for the thread and ping Molly. I spent the day off the computer until this evening then caught up on the links you posted earlier today. Good stuff, I put a couple on the other site.
I counted up and over the summer I read TEN books on my Kindle. It’s been wonderful. I’m off to read myself of sleep as I type.
We can all see November from our porches and patios. I’ll be in my usual spot at the court house helping those who wish to, vote. Hopefully most voters will vote the way I want....(most of our voters make only 1 mark, hopefully they will mark as I wish.
I wish November was tomorrow.
Kinda restful -- still waitin' for Fall here in FLA.
It's always nice here to hang the Notre Dame FLAG here on Saturday afternoon, and then bask in the glow of the crosses burning on the front lawn in the evening ...
These 'Gaters' and 'Noles' and 'Canes' are way too serious about their football.
Wait 'till next week ........................ FRegards
Good morning. From a busy weekend to a busy week. Saturday went to Central Committee meeting, got pep talks and picked up literature for drops. They want us to drop it on every door in our precincts. My co-leader didn’t show up, as usual, so it’s all on my back. I will do the best I can, but pretty difficult to do all by myself. I hope he doesn’t run for precinct leader again in 2012 at the next caucus. If I’m re-elected to PL, I will need a good dependable co-leader for that huge election.
Not having a good dependable co-worker depletes the satisfaction of doing such an important work. And it is important. You are on the front lines of this revolution. I hope you get reinforcements soon.
I got a Kindle last spring. I think I am reading more now, more post Kindle than pre Kindle. Is that your experience also?
(((((((Iowa Granny)))))))) You really sound like you need a hug :(
That is a disturbing article.
I fell asleep at the bottom of the ninth inning. I woke up to pleasant news.
I double dog dare you not to laugh.
Yea. No sense saving your best pitchers for the playoff if you don’t get in the playoffs....RME @ Joe Girardi.
Chilly a bit this morning..rain....
I saw that AT piece, too, Raven, and decided to wait til later to read it.
RIP, but I can’t help but wonder if he would be alive if he wore his seat belt...Oh wait...
Dems houses of corruption Michelle Malkin
OCare's redistribution of health Betsy McCaughey
Byron York on the radio just now talking about the nastiness of the Dems' attacks....Allen Grayson is the worst offender
AH.....a caller from Kemah, TX...part of my old home area...anyway he’s worried about Dem vote fraud....well yes, we always are...
Ciao Bella...hope you are doing well.
No, I'm not ok....missing the sun, the heat, the long days, summer..../complaining
You guys are crackin’ me up!
Today’s Jacksonians- that’s encouraging. I hope they remember many Novembers to come.
Hi, I’m not OK also... I miss the sun/head/long days/summer.
I can really feel fall which leads in to winter which I hate the most.
Bro is ok..still not back at work yet...
Let a smile be your umbrella on a rainy, rainy day. :-)
Am I the only one here who loves winter? Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons.
But I DO hope it's nice on Saturday for the guys to go fishing.
Good Morning IG.
With your scheduled, I can imagine how you wish November is tomorrow. We wish you the best of luck and a super duper win.
Good morning. I like all seasons.
It seems every organization have a few people who do the work instead of everyone chipping in. We have Repub president, here, who shows up for very few executive meetings but gives phone orders what he wants done. He’s being replaced the end of December and a real worker will replace him.
The people of Walmart were alive and well this morning! :)
One thing I worry about are “independent” Republicans. I also would like Republicans to follow Pres. Reagans idea of saying no ill against other Republicans.
Kemah will be having it’s 13th Annual Jazz Festival, Wine Fest. A couple of weeks ago we spent a restful couple of days at the South Shore Harbour Resort. It was nice.
quick good morning & check in!
brrrr.. add me to the list of those who dislike when cold/winter approaches. I conplain about the excessive heat but prefer it over cold & everything outside dormant/dead
busy week-end past at Jazz Festival. Out of touch with world more or less
pretty busy fall planned, of course so much is day to day with my mom. She & her two living sibs have gone down hill drastically this past year. She is 92, younger brother 90 & sister 89.
Sports? Ha in Ohio/cleveland. Browns? Indians?.. we now hope for the Cavalier, but with LeBron gone, that is a big BIG question.
Hope it is a good week for all.
We’re finally getting some nice cool weather. The temp dropped to 54 degrees last night and is supposed to get up to 83 today..hopefully. I love spring, fall and winter. I love the snow, I love the fall colors. In central Texas we have summer then a semi cool summer, it seldom gets good and cold.
Pancakes, just what I want today but, aleady had my fresh two yard eggs so will have tomorrow.
My computer had been kabonked, just got in just a bit ago, sil fixed it for me. I still SAY the invrntion of this century was the blue horse notebook and a nickel pencil....
Nary a cloud in the sky, kinda coolish, so nice this morning, will get busy in a few to do a cleanup job on my ‘shack in the back’.
