I will tell you why—just look at what happened to AT&T

Did you phone used to cost you $12 a month?

And now?

And can you reach a frickin operator?

And do you pay for everything

Is equipment included/

That’s why.

“Gates was always first and foremost a weasel.”

Technology has never been Microsoft’s strong point. Stealing ideas and paying off the technical press to bad mouth others has. They made IBM look bad at the game of telling your boss you had made a big mistake by not using MS. I agree what strength they have in the technical area is because of Allen.

THe headline is misleading. He didn’t say vaccines reduce the population, he said reproductive services would reduce the population.

“I didn’t realize Gates thinks he is above God.”

He and Buffet already have their places on Mount Olympus. They are just waiting on Soros so they can proclaim their deity as a trinity.

You first, Billy boy. Put your money where your mouth is or shut up. Typical liberal. Always wanting someone else to provide the solution to your problem.

"Gates was always first and foremost a weasel. Paul Allen was the brains of the outfit."

Replace "Gates" with "Jobs", and "Allen" with "Wozniak", and you've got another true statement. IMO, Jobs was (and is) a "much" bigger weasel than Gates. AFIAK, Gates never stole money from Allen.....the same cannot be said for Jobs and Wozniak.

"....at the very least the population growth rate must come down. The world cannot handle exponential growth of the human race IMO. Flame away."

In the Capitalist world, the growth rate has already dropped precipitously (assuming you mean population growth), and is dropping pretty much everywhere else as standards of living rise. All the human race needs is acess to enough energy, which can be gotten from fission (and soon, fusion), and/or from power satellites.

The Malthusian argument is long dead.

" In other words if we DO manage to REDUCE atmospheric CO2, and reduce CO2 in the global biome, then worldwide, food supplies WILL suffer. "

Perhaps that is their intented agenda after all ?

If God created this planet and told mankind to " be fruitful and multiply " then, God would through providence make a way to sustain us.

Could be. It would be nice if he were interested in keeping people from getting sick, though. I mean, that’s what *I* use vaccines for.

... reproductive health services...
Translation = abortion

Bingo. Bill Gates' statement was nothing more than a plea for 3rd worlders to set up more scrape shops.

IIRC, you could move the world's population to Texas, give each person 100 sq. ft. of space, and you would still have more than 50% of the state available.

This is what I came up with:
Texas is roughly 268,820 square miles. There are 640 acres in a square mile.
268,820 x 640 = 172,044,800 acres in Texas.

World population is approximately 6,872,200,000
That would be approximately 40 people per acre (6,872,200,000/172,044,800).
There are 43,560 square feet per acre. That gives each person roughly 1,089 square feet of space (to cover all of Texas). So to cover half, each person would need 544.5 square feet of personal space.

Granted that isn't much. Think about this, most new developments have 8 houses per acre, and average family size is 3.14 persons. So, in a new subdivision in the United States you have roughly 25 folks per acre.

I still think their real agenda is all about money and power. The ‘elite’ believe the masses are too stupid to survive, and perhaps do not deserve to live and thrive without the enlightened guidance, and the benevolent secular despotism of the ‘elite.’

“We know what is best for you.”

to paraphrase and re-purpose an old slogan ... ‘Liberalism macht frei’
