I think the correct answer is “Pencil”. Cup ENDS with a “puh” which is the same sound pencil starts with.

Actually, the correct answer is ‘PINTA’. (object far right) One of the three ships that Columbus used to discover America.

Every kindergartner knows this.

Now if you were an illegal immigrant, technically the duck is the correct answer since the word ‘Duck’ in Spanish is ‘Pato.’

Does this test assume kindergarteners can read the word? I can’t remember to what degree I was literate when I was in Miss Clayton’s kindergarten class. However, I do remember her beautiful assistant, Miss Ables...oh, and my first love, Carla Stanger.

I like the way you think outside of the box, but how do you know it wasn’t the Nina or the Santa Maria?

I had the same test. I was the only one who followed the instructions. I sat there at my desk watching my classmates filling out two pages of non productive busy work.

Kind of like Congress.

Whether you were going to wind up as a factory worker or go on to University was pretty much determined by the time a kid was in the 5th or 6th grade.

Wrong....It was determined by who you knew and how far up into the politburo you could reach!!!
