Ryder Cup 2010: Lee Westwood has turned Tiger Woods into a plaything
UK Telegraph ^ | 10-3-2010 | Ian Chadband

Tiger Woods's feudal right to rule the roost can no longer be sustained when he gets duffed up quite as badly as this.

It was the only way Dan Hicks would agree to climb down from the ledge of a building.

But seriously, can you imagine the pressure NBC placed on the PGA and by extension Pavin et al to select Tiger regardless of record or form? Woods is in the midst of his 4th swing change (and they said Faldo was crazy for changing his ONCE) - in his heart of hearts even he would admit the timing isn’t right to be there.

There haven’t even been any singles matches yet. And usually the US does well in the singles. This thing isn't over by a long shot in 1999 the US was down by a bunch but came back to win on Sunday. Oh ye of little faith !

Tiger kicked butt today. We just can’t putt those freakin slow greens. Sigh. Well-played Europe.

Pavin is a horrible captain.

The U.S. had numerous chances to at least tie this thing.

Dude, they choked.

Perhaps to double the television viewing audience? And thereby earn many more millions for the tournament purse for next year?
