I liked the ad. Rush didn’t and others didn’t care for it.
It came off well because of her charm and personality.
Now that she’s gone there, maybe she should put that behind her and concentrate on issues.
I can tell you how most of the male audience is going to see this ad. She is very attractive! I’d like to look at her for the next 6 years or so. It’s a great ad because it presents her as calm, sensible, and very easy to listen to and look at. If your mind was not made up, and you had a mere caricature of her in mind due to what everyone else was saying about her, this ad was very good. To think they did not focus group test this ad on independents and Reagan democrats is naive.
Whatever happens with Christine (and I really hope she wins), that situation has totally changed my feelings about two people I really liked: Rove and Cornyn.
It’s one thing for Cornyn to want Castle to win the primary so he can reign with a majority, but it’s entirely another for him (and Rove) to continue to diss her after she’s won.
Odd that there’s a new (iffy) poll on the Representative race though:
http://www.delawareonline.com/article/20101006/NEWS02/10060356/Carney-tops-Urquhart-in-new-poll
The last poll on Del. senate race was for practical purposes a three-way poll showing an unsustainable gap for O’Donnell. O’Donnell will be 5 or more points higher in a new poll.
Castle’s abandonment of a write-in was a major change in the race that ‘someone’ should have been interested in.
It is most peculiar anyway.
Actually, there is a new poll out today-bad news for COD. Don’t know how reliable the poll is-hopefully not reliable at all.

Same poll being reported this morning on MSDNC: http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2010/10/06/5240639-the-midterms-hey-big-spenders
Yet another poll shows Chris Coons with a commanding lead over Christine O'Donnell Coons leads 49%-30% in a new University of Delaware Center for Political Communication poll. With leaners, Coons' lead expands to 61%-37%.
A complete disaster.
You probably knew this, but Cuomo is running for Governor. I was referring to the Senate races.
Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about Paladino v. Cuomo, since that’s what got most of the attention lately.
