Good morning everybody! The JADB family farm is all about picking cotton this time of year -- thank heaven that the temps have settled into the 80's.
Run the picker until the basket is full.
Dump cotton into module builder.
Press cotton with tramper until you form a solid block called a "module".
Open back door of module builder and pull off, leaving module which is about 8' tall x 32' long. I parked my vehicle there for perspective.
Repeat until you have modules sitting all over the turn rows. The gin will send large trucks to pick up the modules, which weigh in excess of 20,000 lbs. each.

Well just WOW! It has been many years but I was working for a while in Texas cotton country and just remember eighteen wheelers and tractor drawn buggies going down the road with cotton blowing all over the place. The road sides looked like it had snowed.
