David Horowitz used to be a flaming lib/commie and is now a brilliant conservative speaker and author. He takes the fight to the left on the campuses. He's a bit of a neocon-but that is splitting hairs.

While I was always a conservative, I have become much more strident in my views and have even started abandoning my libertarian streak.

My Cuban wife thinks I am a moderate which is pretty froghtening.

I have joked w/ my mother that my brother & I “have gone all
David Horowitz” on her. She laughs, sort of...... I remember my father used to get his magazine.....Ramparts I believe. I find him to be a fascinating character..........
