Does Obama know how to drive a car?

Listening to the Bill Bennett radio show this AM, and someone called in with an interesting claim. They had been researching Obama's background, and couldn't find any evidence that he had ever driven a car. He found plenty of evidence that Obama had ridden bicycles; busses; public transportation; and been driven places by others, but no evidence that Obama himself had ever driven a car.

(Hillary)...had to explain to them that she hadn't driven a car in 16 years. I don't think most people realize that the Political Elite really are the Ancien Regime. The "Let them eat cake attitude" is very real -- these people have no idea what your life is like.
Normal Americans love their cars. The automobile is a huge part of Americana.
Just look at the street rods, customized pickups and sporty cars in the US.
I think we just love to drive.

The flip side of this is the story I heard from a relative of mine a few years ago. He described one of the interesting aspects of his morning commute into D.C. from where he lived in northern Virginia.
Every once in a while he'd be moving along in traffic, would look around him briefly at the other cars around him, and would notice a well-dressed Clarence Thomas driving next to him in a Corvette. With a large cigar in his mouth.
For all its flaws, America is an awesome place. LOL.

My friend, how wrong you are! Obama was just recently videotaped “driving” a Chevy Volt at least 25 feet on a GM test track. I’m pretty sure he had on a crash helmet and those knee pads that little girls have to wear when they take their scooters out for a spin.
