Paul Shanklin needs to re-write “In a Yugo”.

Swerved to miss a baby duck and crushed by a produce truck.

For all her innate intelligence and higher education, she didn’t use any common sense to be driving a vehicle like that:

“Proteomics is the study of proteins and can help find the cure to many diseases by identifying the proteins in human cells.

Dr Nadal had been at Imperial since 1993, when she studied for a three-year PhD in biochemistry.

She went on to obtain a post-doctorate from Imperial in 2000, before being offered the role of protein analysis facility manager at the Centre for Molecular Microbiology and Infection at the college.”

In the effort to gain better gas miles per gallon the environazis have killed more people than all the world’s pollution.

If gas prices spike, expect to see a lot of these vehicles. Obviously, they are very dangerous for the occupants. One of the reasons that fatality rates has dropped over the years is the steady increase in both size and strength of the standard issue auto in this country, as well as the actual safety devices such as side air bags.

One option is to limit them to streets with speed limits of 35 mph or less, but that doesn’t solve the problem of such vehicles colliding with a truck, SUV, or even a standard sized sedan.

Isn’t it just as dangerous as a motorcycle?

It is crazy. I am not pimping for Ford but I do like their products. The third generation Fusion hybrid will be coming out and people are hoping it has a plug in.

The little Fiesta is pretty darn safe and gets mileage close to a Prius.

“the environazis have killed more people than all the world’s pollution.”

Probably a goal. People are the worst source of “pollution” in their eyes, no?

I think a motorcycle might be safer because the other driver might have a heightend awareness plus might use extra caution.

Sad. I saw. I do not think he is going to make it. I felt the same way over a month ago. He was a big lib but I hope he recovers.

“I think a motorcycle might be safer because the other driver might have a heightend awareness plus might use extra caution.”

Perhaps also a motorcycle is more maneuverable. And the tin can car may give a false sense of security to a driver.

Looks like one of the “cars” that drives around our town with “Smart Car” emblazoned on its backside, supposedly because it gets such fantastic gas mileage - not so smart when it gets in an accident apparently......
