You did a good job. That CZ looks like a factory finish. I have read that cerra-coat is even better but is more difficult to apply.
I have actually just used spray paint for older less expensive guns in which I had to remove rust before finishing. The paint scratches easily but is also easy to retouch. Krylon seems to be a good one.

Thanks for the kind words. Gun-Kote is used by Navy SEALS and other Spec Ops guys. If it's good enuff for them, then it's good enuff for me. Brownell’s has a really good vid of how to use the stuff. They refinish a 1911 and it came out great. Prep is everything — use brake cleaner as the solvent and wear those disposable nitrile gloves for the whole process.
