As polls show what appears to be a Republican tidal wave in the works for November 2, the chances of more unexpected GOP wins in the U.S. House obviously grow greater. As the results come in election night, here are the ten most likely upsets of once seemingly safe Democrats that conservatives should keep an eye out for

Please especially look at Melissa Haluszczak. She's running against Mike Doyle in Pittsburgh who: 1. Supports Pelosi 99.9% of the time, 2. Authored the Stupak Ssellout, 3. Defended the "Tunnel to Nowhere" project in Pittsburgh which was the 3rd largest waste of federal tax $$ this year, and 4. is one of DC's biggest proponets of Cap & Trade.
Ore.-4: Dr. Art Robinson vs Democratic Rep. Peter DeFazio is THE race to watch.
How about Ruth McClung over Raul Grijalva in AZ-7? “No Democrat has ever won less than 59 percent of the vote here” but Grijalva supported a boycott of his own state. Now the polls show it’s close.

My husband and I have donated to WA-9, Dick Muri(R) vs. incumbent Adam Smith(D). We are hopeful as the trend the last few weeks has been good for Muri. It will be tough, this is a Puget Sound suburban(Seattle) district; but, this year — it may be possible.
Fiorina getting a surge of support over Boxer, the most inept, arrogant and plain nasty politician to come out of New Yawk via Marin County, California... Sixties druggy capital of Northern California.
Thuggery by this loser is an insult to thugs.
Things are looking up.
I agree. Peter DeFazio and I go way back. He is a class-A JERK!!!!
Art is about to open an XL can of whoop ass on old Pete!!!!
Not only do we need DeFazio OUT,
we NEED Dr. Robinson IN
Dr. Robinson has:
Michelle Bachmann’s spine,
Tom Coburn’s intelligence (in the fields of science and energy),
Sarah Palin’s strength of conviction and
Ronald Reagan’s patriotism.
I saw Fiorina on FoxNews on Friday (don’t remember which show) and she was fabulous. I can see why she has a chance in such a liberal state.
Not only do we need DeFazio OUT,
we NEED Dr. Robinson IN
.... yeeesssssss! Saw the Utube of Dr Art vs Madcow and he is FANTASTIC... would be a smart, anti globull warmies, stand up for America guy... Madcow was shredded and he wouldn’t let her get away with any of her trash! Good luck and get him IN!

1. Conn.-1: Engineer Ann Brickley is running a spirited grass-roots campaign against Rep. John Larson in the Hartford-district that has been Democratic since 1958. (Brickley actually sends hand-written thank-you notes.)
We CT FReepers, Tea Partiers and conservatives have banded together and have been working tirelessly for Ann Brickley (a Tea Party favorite) in Connecticut's First District. We've participated in several pre-debate rallies and attended debates in support of this amazing woman, and plan to attend another one tomorrow afternoon. Many of us have been manning her phone banks as well. CT-01 could be a surprise on November 3rd!
Filmmaker extraordinare PALIN SMITH has filmed several Ann Brickley rallies and debates:
PALIN SMITH's YouTube Channel: Brickley vs Larson
Ann is running against the loathsome John Larson, the #4 democRAT in the House, otherwise known as "Nancy Pelosi's Lapdog".
Larson is the guy in the pic above on the right (to Nancy's left). Despicable uber-liberal and dumb as a box of rocks, IMO.
Nancy's "Red Queen" Photoshopped red attire in the photo above is by HillBuzz.org
Wow... really? What's that all about?
I haven't worked for Caligiuri and haven't been following his race that closely (I'm in CT-01), but from what I've heard (through radio interviews, TV ads, etc.) Sam sounds like a great candidate...
Out of this list I haven’t given much thought to PA-14 (Doyle), RI-2 (Langevin), and CT-1 (Larson).
If those 3 could go down.....
MO-3 is also listed. It would sweet to send both Carnahan siblings to defeat.
Langevin winning would mean both “Kennedy Seats” went Republican in 2010.
I absolutely refuse to believe that Doyle is vulnerable in that district.
Mass & CT close at 8pm and KY and IND at 7pm for parts of state .... CT results could be coming by 830pm. If the Tidal Wave hits central Connecticut, then it will be a nightmare night for DEMS. Then again, if there are 2 places in the east that avoid the Wave it would be central CT and VT.
Larson CT-1 would be a shocker, but he is really hustling, fighting for his life. He is all over TV and radio. Not very effective ads. “made in the USA” type stuff.
Tell us about Larson’s opponent as to whom few outside CT have much info. If Larson goes down, then the Demonrats may as well keep Nancy as Demonrat Leader of the remaining 75 reds.
I came away with the impression that, though more moderate, John is essentially a decent guy. If you need a second opinion, I assume that attorney Gordon Allen (who I recall is also of Wethersfield) is a reliable and more up-to-date source. Gordy is a solid conservative but had a mild weakness early on for Weicker which I believe he cured eventually as a State Central Committee member. Gordy was an important aide to Governor Tom Meskill when Gordy was a brand new lawyer (1970-74).
From what I have read (possibly from you?), Miss Miller is a TEA Party candidate.
As to Calgiuri, that is a shame but he ought to be elected anyway. Have people volunteer through town committees that are reliable. I assume that Joe Markley's district is within Calgiuri's CD. It is a bit difficult for a Congressional candidate to get away with instructing town committees not to utilize volunteers.
Langevin holds the other CD that was NOT Patrick Kennedy’s. The apparently lavender mayor of Providence is nominated in the Kennedy district centered on Providence. The GOP candidate there is, I believe, an Irishman who is a GOP state representative and is said to have some chance.
