Thanks for posting that memorable front page from the DMN. My favorite headline is "Texas ranks low in expenditures for social services".

Not to hijack the thread but your post reminded me of this story about Texas not doing a good job signing up the poor for food stamps. The news photo accompanying the story has 2 of the 3 "poor" people you can see waiting wearing blue tooth phone devices.
