I am in NY media market (North Jersey). I follow politics and am interested in the process. I don’t even know who is running against Gilibrand. I have not seen one commercial. Not one print add. I see hers all the time. They portray her as a mother who is fighting for working families. The commercials are good and very non-partisan. I don’t even think they mention her party affiliation. Bad, bad job by GOP, both in recruiting candidate (if Rudy really wanted to be a credible Pres. contender he should have run for this Senate seat or for Governor) and in getting message out. I think they just wrote this one off.

I know. Dick Morris said this was a winnable seat.

“if Rudy really wanted to be a credible Pres. contender he should have run for this Senate seat or for Governor”

Correct. Rudy needs to be vigorously laughed out of the room if he ever hints at even trying for Prez ... he could have been Gov or Senator, but he ducked.

And the NY GOP is a basketcase. They muffed multipled opportunities, screwed up 2 special elections and just threw away an awesome opportunity to take on Democrats in the senate. Shameful!
