Ferrari's championship leader Fernando Alonso believes the Italian team's rivals are "trying to divert attention" by playing psychological games in the media. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner - whose drivers are both in contention for the title - this week said it would be "frustrating" to lose to the Spaniard after the Hockenheim team orders affair.

Hispania's Brazilian driver Bruno Senna admits it will be an emotional experience driving in his home grand prix this weekend. Senna, the nephew of late F1 great Ayrton, has never raced in his home country, having started his career in Britain.

Kamui Kobayashi has dismissed suggestions that he is a dangerous driver following following a number of incidents where he has made contact on the track with some of his rivals this season. "Maybe I have a bit of contact with other guys in my experience of F1, but I have never crashed with any driver - or make him crash," said the Japanese Sauber driver.
