Most underrated team is Okie State. Fantastic offense, defense needs some work, but a tough team to beat.
BSU, the team that takes the trailer park mentality approach to deciding what color their field should be, should be eliiminated from all football discussions until they change their field to a proper green color. ;o)
NU should be further down. As for BSU, what the heck do they have to do? They started out as 3, have won absolutely everything and find themselves at 4?
I’m not surprised that TCU didn’t move up despite destroying the 5th rank team in the country. I have TCU at 2 (behind BSU), and Utah at 5 still.
TCU is the real deal. Wish they had a tougher schedule. The BCS needs a playoff system.
Is there any possible scenario whereby Stanford end up at #2, behind Oregon, and the BCS championship agme is a REMATCH...
They have to do the same thing that TCU has to do -- play a harder non-conference schedule. Unfortunately for BSU, their conference schedule is so weak (even weaker than the MW schedule which at least included BYU and Utah) that every week that goes by drops BSU in the computer rankings.

I agree we should not be lower because of our ugly win.
A healthy TMart would have made it a whole different game.
Gawd no. Both BSU and TCU go undefeated. The press loves Wis and Ohio State, so before Stanford ever gets rated that high, all of these teams would have to lose. Besides the only bowl game rematch between teams that played during the year that I can remember was NU vs OU in 1978.
Everyone, listen to Oldsailor, he knows what he’s talking about.
SDSU, Cough, Cough...
I am a big Husker Fan as well, but sometimes even with T Magic... its just a strange team. But I will take an Ugly win over an L any day. See LSU/Tenn...
The last team to beat them was an interdivision rival.
I would agree with you, but they beat two ranked teams outside of their own division. They’ve clearly demonstrated that the BCS teams are inferior, which is why I have them ranked at number 1 and TCU at 2.
When the BCS finally manages to defeat them, I’ll change my mind, but until then, I don’t understand why people reflexively rank weaker BCS teams ahead of them.
and Auburn loses Newton due to this scandal (that will NOT be decided until long after the bowl season) ...
Would the voters DARE to have TCU (#1 defense) play BSU for the BCS title?
I’m all for the Boise State cheer, but on the other hand, so long as there are other undefeated teams who have played harder opponents, I can’t argue for BSU to be above them.
If we end the season with BSU and TCU being the only undefeated teams, that’s when I’d scream if they weren’t in the top two.
But it seems likely this year that two teams with solid opponents will end up undefeated this year.
Awbrun still has to beat Bama.
If the Tide beat Awbrun, then either BSU or TCU will be in the national championship.
