HAVANA (AP) -- Cuba harshly criticized a new video game in which U.S. special operations soldiers try to kill a young Fidel Castro, saying Wednesday that the violent role-playing glorifies assassination and will turn American children into sociopaths.
The island's state-run media also took a dig at the CIA's real-life efforts to do in the island's revolutionary leader, who has survived dozens, perhaps hundreds of attempts on his life.
"What the United States couldn't accomplish in more than 50 years, they are now trying to do virtually," said an article posted on Cubadebate, a state-run news website.

Actually ... I bought a copy yesterday. It is a truly badass game. Shooting communists remains a suitable and enjoyable pass-time.
There is even an after-game story line where zombies invade the Pentagon during a meeting between Kennedy, Castro, Nixon and Robert McNamara. JFK, zombie slayer.

Well, this story really spoiled some of the story. Just played through all this last night. And the prison isn’t in Siberia, it’s in northern Russia, near Scandinavia.
It’s certainly a lot of fun, but to call it “ultra-realistic” is laughable. The set pieces are Michael Bay-esque.
I guess I should’ve “spoiler” tagged it. I never really thought about it, actually. Guess I got too caught up in my amusement that Castro was all pissy about a virtual assassination attempt.
Hey ... at least he was included in the JFK zombie apocalypse sub-plot.

COD Black Ops Widows Club, day two. Wait till you see Fidel in the game tho! The guys are loving it! Girls week out across America! To be truthful, my husband is salivating but waiting till I work this weekend to break it in himself. My son is amazingly fast at getting ready for school to get a few minutes of play.
Still waiting for the day when they come out with a video game where you hunt Islamofascists. Nah, they won’t do that. They’ll just do games with Soviets or Nazis or some other safe target.
