Years ago, when Baron was still a young pup, I ran into a friend of mine who is Baltimore’s most popular radio talk show host (Ron Smith, a great conservative). I mentioned I had a Dobie, and he said, “I had one. Loved him with all of my heart. They have such intelligent eyes, it’s as if they can understand every word you say.”
