If I had a nickle for every time somebody around here used that term to imply they possessed superior character, and intellect and historical knowledge than their fellow citizens that enjoy big league sports, I'd have ten bucks.

Wasn't Mile High taxpayer funded? Were they somehow an illegitimate enterprise when they played there?
