As a TIDE fan, I wish Auburn the best. Should they pull off a miraculous win, I hope they represent our beloved SEC well and win this Conference's fifth straight National Championship. If there is one team that is deserving of a national title, it is Auburn University. And should Auburn lose this game, I still hope they beat the hell out of Steve Spurrier in Atlanta.

Now having said that . . .

Thank you. It is always very scrappy when our teams meet. However, I hope, even with a fever, to get down to Toomer’s Corner in a couple of hours and celebrate.

Why don’t you start a Bama thread and we’ll see who gets the most posts by the end of the day? Obnoxious posters on either thread are subtracted from the total.

I love Bama fans like you Hoodat. You are a true sportsman.

My next door neighbor is like you. He went to Bama and had an affiliation with the football program.

In 2004, they sent us orange and blue cupcakes to congratulate us on our undefeated season.

Last year, we reciprocated when they returned from the watching the game in AZ.

He left a message on my answering machine thanking us, by saying Roll Tide AND War Eagle.

This game is set to be a great match...the top defense against the top offense.
