I have to give credit where credit is due, to Bill and Hilary Clinton. While they are both deeply flawed individuals, collectively they seem to have done a remarkable job raising their daughter. Apart from speaking at a few college events during her mother's campaign for the Dem nomination and the media-buzz surrounding her marriage, she has been virtually invisible.

The same can be said about the Bush twins. They have quietly gone about their lives without pimping their parent's name to make a living.

That's true. The only reason I didn't mention them is because Jenna is a contributor to the Today Show. Is that "pimping her dad's name"? Maybe. But to your point, at least they both went to school, and apparently each did well while they were there. Barbara is kind of a pain in the ass (politically), but I understand she has become very involved with her cousin's charitable organization. So on balance, I think they both have earned some respect.

Neither the Bush family or the Clinton family was dirt poor. Good, bad or otherwise, the Palin family was struggling to make ends meet before her first foray into politics. This is the first chance to make some real money and move permanently out of the living from paycheck to paycheck category.

It may look a little trashy, but the fact is they took the bull by the horns will ride it till it dies or is killed.
