There are words and phrases in the Human vocabularies
That just do not translate well into Felinese
While words and sounds of Human contentment, joy and elation
Work surprisingly well when adapted to four-legged translation
There are a few that just don't traverse so well through a Kitten's ears

No matter the exclamation, inflection or how sincere
For instance, "Cannot", Should not" and "Would not"
Have no meaning until the Kitten is caught
Red handed doing exactly what their Humans think we ought not
One must understand that whatever the Kitten does see

Instantly belongs to either she or he
No matter if it is a ball of yarn or acquiring a snack from the Table
Kittens do what they do, to the best that they are able
Knowing that the chances for retribution or discipline are next to non-existent
Is why Kittens grow up to be Cats by being so wonderfully persistent!
