Because women (and a sizable percentage of men) are smart enough to leave the damn thing alone. I am not especially afraid of snakes, actually I think they’re pretty cool, but if I see one in the wild, I don’t mess with it. It seems to work out well.

I like snakes and aren’t afraid of them. Whatever the behavior, we all have about an hour to receive treatment. Behavior speculation doesn’t remedy the problem. Most people that fall down are drunk I would speculate.

Yep, I do that now ever since one bit me once. Luckily it was just a garter snake. It was totally my fault for playing with it... :(

but if I see one in the wild, I don’t mess with it.

Me neither. Unless it is a green grass snake. Those are cute and fun to hold.

I am PETRIFIED of snakes. Normally, I would run like crazy at a big worm. The only time I didn’t was when a black snake of some sort tried to get into the carport during a summer day. I threw things at it and it still kept coming. Long story short: I hit the thing on the head with a shovel. I had seen that on t.v and it always showed you could kill it with one hit. Must have been a weak day for me since I had to hit the thing like twenty times. My husband still laughs at that one since he had the job of snake removal.
