It's a strange sheaf of documents for Florida's governor to have. The thick notebook describes how Jim Morrison discussed sex with a lamb he held on stage, ordered fans to "love your neighbor 'til it hurts" and later, at trial, defended his boozy singing to a prosecutor. "Hello! I love ewe! Let me jump in your game!"

Crist only initiated this inquiry in the hopes of seeing photographic evidence of Morrisons junk. The evidence will not stand up in court at this late a date.

Old hippies are utterly pathetic. They just cant get their head out of the 60s.>>>>>>
The Doors were great. If I hear LA Woman and some of their other tunes on the car radio I blast it. Unlike any other group

"I'm talkin' about love your neighbor 'til it hurts! I'm talkin' about grab your friend! I'm talkin' about some love, I'm talkin' about some love, I'm talking about some love, I'm talkin' about love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love! Grab your (expletive) friend and love him! Come on! Yeah!" I loved the Doors, but Morris' "genius" was just a bit overrated. Krieger wrote the lyrics to most of their hits, if I recall.

CINCPAC was ADM U.S.G. Sharp during the Gulf of Tonkin. Rear Admiral Morrison never reached 4 stars. Recently passed away in Coronado, Ca.

Wonder why no one ever asks what the real story was .. from someone who was there?
I was there that night!
Fact is .. The girls were out of their minds and Morrison made it even worse when he started peeing into the open mouths of the screaming wenches in the front.
I have so many stories of rock bands, sports stars and outlaw bikers of the 60’s and 70’s in south florida .. I could write a book!

I'm not surprised that Charlie would find an act like that appealing.
How long will he stay married now that he doesn't need a wife for political cover?

Thanks for the ping, Slings!
Thanks for sharing that story, Terry... I guess Janis didn’t want to risk smashing her Southern Comfort bottle and grabbed the bottle of Jack instead? LOL
Morrison definitely seemed like a conceited jerk, IMHO... (And, only from stories and rumors, of course — he died a year and 2 weeks before I was born...). I don’t like a LOT of his songs, but a few of them are really good. The only thing that gets annoying is how many times I hear the “hits” on the radio. I guess any song can become annoying when they play it daily!
[My kids are sitting here with me and just freaked out when I told them I don’t like ALL the Doors songs! LMAO! Kind of wild when my 19 y.o. daughter LOVES a band that I wasn’t even alive for!]

He may still have ambitions. Be interesting to watch, in any case.

Four songs.
Light My Fire, Touch Me, Love Her Madly and Love Me Two Times.
The “pop hit” tunes.
Of the four, only Light My Fire is good.
The rest could’ve just as easily been sung by the Osmonds.
Morrison wrote all the brilliant stuff that is appreciated by those who know his lyrical influences, William Blake, for one.
