Vanity - I purchased Call of Duty Black Ops for Wii for my son. I'm not familiar with playing this game. Will he need any special wii controllers or accessories to play this game easier?

although i don’t believe you’ll NEED it, having a Wii classic controller is a huge help. That’s pretty much how all other fps console games are played.

Standard WII controller and a nunchuk will do it. U need the nunchuk to crouch, jump, walk, run etc.

To really get a lot out of it, he’ll just need the “Wii to PS3 conversion kit”

I asked my 12 year old son. He says the best controller for that game is a brand new Xbox.

We have Wii, and I hate it. Controller stuff is just lame. I’ve tried playing some of my Nintendo Game Cube games on wii, like it’s supposed to, but the machine freaks out, weak memory. I agree with others, Playstation and Xbox is probably the answer. Our current wii is making some very loud noises, so I’m thinking we are about due for a new system. If I have any say in this family matter (5 person household), and I probably don’t, then I’d get Play Station, as they seem to know what they are doing.

If you plan to play FPS, as opposed to more Wii-like kid games, then you need a PS3 and a SplitFish controller (a mouse, basically.)

Q: Is resistance fall of man coming out on wii?
A: No.

There are lots of FPS games for PS3 (and for XBox, if you are so inclined.) Wii, IMO, is for very young kids. If your son is in the age where FPS is appropriate, he will want to have access to Resistance, Far Cry, and other goodies.
