(December 19, 2010) Michelle Obama and the girls, Sasha and Malia, as well as the first dog, Bo, have arrived in Hawaii without the President, Barack Obama. The first family left the White House in Washington DC yesterday and arrived in Hawaii on the island of Oahu at about 7 pm reports are coming in.
President Obama has decided to stay back DC to finish up the remaining business that congress has for him while Michelle and crew play in Hawaii. Those not on Oahu, or the windward side, (we’re just down the road from where they’re staying) might feel a little better about not being in Hawaii with the knowledge that the Obama’s have arrived to a flash flood on Oahu.
......President Obama and his family have been here every year since he starting running for president in 2008. Oh I know we are paying for it. They don’t care...it’s FREE for them but...still better THEM than me. I would NEVER go first especially if I thought my husband was under stress or so busy. We go TOGETHER or we STAY THE HELL HOME.
This little arrangement doesn’t exactly make for a family togetherness, now does it? Wonder how the girls like being away from their father so close to Christmas?

She's in good company considering that all of America is without a real president, but it is sad that Michelle is in Hawaii without her husband too. It's particularly sad for patriotic Americans considering that Obama tends to do far more damage when he is in our White House than when on one of his many vacations. Barack, please go spend time with your family. Please?
