Remember readin one in the 1960s about some people who are traveling over the ice. Cities are under the ice and use periscopes to see atop the ice sheets. Chicago has become “Chago”. It ends with them in Central America where things seem pretty nice — certainly warmer.
Cannot remember the name of-the book or the author.
