I find it more extreme to assert that all is well with Ted and his afterlife existence, and that dogs even have an after life, and Ted’s just having a wonderful time, with no consequence for attacking God’s Commandment by living examples and actions his whole life!
The assertion, implied or explicit, that God is not a Just God undermines the reality of His infinite Mercy and Love. Love and Mercy, without Justice, is a concept derived from failed logic. IMHO
