One thing, though; roughly half the time I search using google, and click a result, google or something automatically redirects me to a random page. Its never tried to redirected me a porn site, as far as I remember, but I always close the browser pretty quick, so I don't know for sure.
use “hijack this” as well as malwarebytes. Also a rootkit detector can be run. Combofix works best on pre vista windows O/S

Google won’t do that unless you hit the “I’m feeling lucky” button.
If you’re getting redirected like that, it’s malware that’s doing it. Definitely download Malwarebytes. The virus might prevent you from doing this, in which case you’ll need to download it from another computer onto a usb drive to get it on your computer.
I have a friend that is having the same problem and I promise you she is not looking a porn.
for future ref. if needed .... thank-you !
Just not my style. ;)
what antivirus are you using?
superantispyware is a great anti malware.
hitman pro3.5 is a great antivirus/rootkit, package free for 30 days, and can be run from a usbstick, with other installed antivirus packages. Also secunia psi(free) will keep other programs on system up to date, minimizing other attack vectors.
