"It is hard to believe but there are probably members of Free Republic who don’t have to start their day off by visiting FR."

I do believe that to be a sin. Those who don't must repent! I admit, FR is my "morning newspaper" in which I get up an hour early each day to read and drink my coffee to see what I missed while sleeping. Then come home and jump back on to see what I missed while working.

I'm an FR junkie. Is there a 12 step for that? I hope not!

Each to his own. If a person suffers from a bad heart or high blood pressure, that person has to make the choices for himself, that is before Obamacare makes the choice.
Some people’s health will honestly not allow them to devote as much time as they want to news as perhaps they would like to do.
I value each person.

FR and the iPad are a dangerous combination. It makes the old days of waiting for the laptop to power up, connect to the network, open the page obsolete.

If you find a 12 Step program, keep it to yourself. I am having waaaaayyyyy too much fun!

I was thinking this morning, as I took my coffee up to get on the net and read Free Republic, that this is the way I used to go out and get the morning paper.

I still take the paper, but often it stays in the yard all day and then I merely scan it.
