Actually,for many people, drinking out of jars was common.

However, Frank M. Davis had money, through his wife. He could afford real cups and glasses.

I still say FMD might be the real “Father”

Yes, exactly. I understand people saving glass jars to use for drinking glasses if they are poverty stricken, but obama didn’t grow up “poor”, what a crock (or jelly jar?)

fifty years ago I was stationed on the island of Saipan.
The natives would make booze from coconuts, I believe they
called it TUBA. You could go to their home and fill your
container, fruit jar or any jar available with this stuff
and it was very powerful.

Yeah, I watch the reruns of Sanford and Son often and Fred uses a jar.
