Some good links but the general characterizations is not a good method of identifying people. You need documentation in order to call someone a “communist” if you want to establish any credibility.
Lots of Obama czars are reds of varying types but you won’t find any known/identified Communist Party members there (some potentially identifiable CP-affiliated people are hidden in the AFL-CIO leadership). but Obama’s people tend to be either Maoist-Chavez sympathizers or nutcases in the general Left. (Dunne, Van Jones, Lloyd, Jennings, Holdren, Sunstein, etc).
[There are CPUSA-affiliated members of Congress including Conyers, Waters, Davis, Filner (his father was a Party organizer), Stark (supported CPUSA and Latin American red fronts); George Miller (supported marxist fronts & causes); possibly De LaRosa thru her husband; Rangel has a record of supporting various communist fronts and causes (totally ignored by the media); nobody has researched former Rep. ABercrombie (now the Gov of Hawaii) and his background; etc.)
Some of Obama’s recent top advisors have ties to the CPUSA thru family, political networking, etc. but none have been identified by Congress as CPUSA members, nor have their identifications appeared in CP publications.
Those (including those in the past several decades) with varying degrees of affiliation, closeness, etc. to the CPUSA include David Axelrod (Rose and Cantor); Jarrett (her father had some ties); Rep. Danny Davis (D-Ill) some good CPUSA fronts and supported their paper at banquet/fundraisers; Alice Palmer (old political friend, now deceased) (CPUSA and Soviet ties); Quentin Young (identified member of the CPUSA in the 60’s and now affiliated with the marxist DSA); (Milton Cohen, deceased - id. CPUSA, DSA). etc.
SDS - Ayers/Dohrn, Jeff Jones, Marilyn Katz; Heather Booth thru her husband Paul, Carl Davidson (Rev. Communist Party), Apollo Alliance - Jones, Joel Rodgers; etc.

ALways check references before you use them. A lot of material seems good but can turn out to be someone’s fantasy and distortions.
