As Rush has always said, with regard to the media and their constant agenda, and I paraphrase:
The “story” is always about the severity of the charge and not the veracity of any evidence.
And that is it that the media does, to spin a story for their agenda.
They turn the “severity of the charge” into a mantra - repeat it, repeat it, repeat it - ad infinitum; without real evidence but with lots of conjecture, while either ignoring, minimizing or simply dismissing any actual evidence that might contradict their spin.
The theory and the practice is that the mantra will remain in the public mind as “the story” in spite of any factual retraction that comes up.
Caitie is getting hammered pretty hard. The left apparently does not tolerate “traitors”.

If the media really wants to go analyzing they better look at the parents
If the kid goes nuts the question of parents is “what can be done”.
if that question never gets asked or little action is taken then something is really wrong there.
