Before I bash the parents here, one must remember that at age 14 one can’t keep your child locked up 24/7 in a convent.

With that said, in my day, yes young girls were raped. Yes it did happen. For the love of God I don’t ever recal anything this bad, or in this manner.

I knew a girl in High School who was raped, at the mall parking lot. She was going to her job when it happened. It was brutal and I don’t recal that it was a gang rape where the gang members recorded it to put on youtube. OH wait..we did not have youtube or cell phones in them their days.

I have a feeling one of those “boys” and I use the term losely was her “friends” and they lured her over there one day just for kicks and to post this on youtube. NOw the article does not say this but I can “go figure” as they said in my day.

She did not know that one can’t trust everyone. She was too young.

That is because it wasn't reported. Often, since it was children as some of the perpetrators - the cops wouldn't even investigate thoroughly. So the problem grew. There was little consequence. With the introduction of the Internet, and the ability of anyone determined enough to become their own reporter - the ability of society to suppress uncomfortable realities has been severed.
